PUBLICATIONS

GUIDA MARSUPIO ‘CAMMINATE PIACENTINE – Il Sentiero del Tidone’

From May 2019 is possible to buy the first publication entirely dedicated to the “Sentiero del Tidone” thanks to the Officine Gutenberg and Achille Menzani, which is the author.

The volume is part of a new series of brief, handy and “friendly” guides that can be easily consulted on the way or during a visit, and just as easily stored in the pocket of the backpack: the Guide Marsupio, digitally printed and assembled in the premises of the social cooperative Officine Gutenberg with the involvement of people with disabilities.

The third number of the series is also the first dedicated to a route in stages, the Sentiero del Tidone, walkable in three days from the delta Po to the spring on the ridge of the Monte Penice.
To the correct format of the first two publications – dedicated to the lower and middle Trebbia Valley – there were added sections dedicated to information on accommodation and meals and the touristic emergency in the area.
The Sentiero del Tidone is an extraordinary naturalistic itinerary, which winds for 69 km along the stream that gives the name to the most occidental of Piacenza’s valleys, crossing two regions: Emilia Romagna and Lombardia. The route starts near Boscone Cusani and, passing through Pianello and Nibbiano, goes up the stream intul the Molato Dam where, coasting the Trebbeco Lake, enters Pavia’s province. Here it continues under the Zavattarello’s Castle, rises on the Lazzarello’s coast, reaches the Alpine Garden of Pietra Corva and finishes in Case Matti, along the slopes of Monte Penice.

To buy it, besides requesting it to the Sentiero del Tidone Association via e-mail (info@sentierodeltidone.it) it is possible to do it through the Officine Gutenberg by clicking in this link

The book of Gimmo “My Rivers My Blues”, published by Officine Gutenberg, tells through images and words the project of the Piacenza singer-songwriter Gian Marco Mento that has shot music videos on the banks of the Piacenza rivers, playing also the Sentiero del Tidone and the Trebbeco Lake.

The book is for sale at the bookstores Libreria Fahrenheit 451 in Piacenza, Libreria Puma in Castel San Giovanni, at the newsstand Edicola 2000 and the Punto Ufficio di Giorgio Belli in Castel San Giovanni. To receive it at home you can write to the e-mail address fahrenheit.451@libero.it
